tequila is only produced in Mexico, the exican law states that tequila can only be produced in Jalisco and some places in Guanajuato, Michoacan, Nayarit and Tamaulipas.
It can be exported to USA, Europe, Japan, South America and some other countries but not produced.
There are a lot of Tequila important brands, the most important is Tequila Jose Cuervo, then  there is Tequila Sauza, Casa Herradura, Tequila Don Julio, Tequila Centinela, Tequila San Matias de Jalisco, Pernod Ricard Mexico and a few others.
